That's just at the San Diego entry. They're doing to do this at all the ports of entry along the border, not just San Diego. If DOJ does its job like they're saying and issues the final asylum decision within 90 days, then word will get around quick that a) an asylum claim won't get you entry into the US and b) if you apply and are sent back to Mexico, you'll know your outcome in 90 days which in 90% or more of the cases will be denial, then c) there will be no point to these caravans, family units or UAC's migrating to the US under the auspices of "asylum". They may still invade, but they won't have the protection of asylum seeker for years, they'll be deportable illegal aliens from day one.
It says it will eventually be at other crossings too.

"He said the US embassy in Mexico had informed local authorities the policy would begin within hours with the return of 20 Central American asylum seekers at the San Ysidro border crossing between San Diego, California and the Mexican city of Tijuana.
The US will continue presenting 20 people a day at that crossing, and eventually extend the policy to other points along the 3,145-kilometer (2,000-mile) border, he said."
I haven't heard TV 8 News say anything else about the 2 white vans with blacked out windows that they said had asylum seekers leaving an ICE office and head south towards the border since then. And there is nothing on their website now, that I can find, about it.
