FAMILY AFFAIR: Malik Obama Blasts Brother Barack’s “Complete Hypocrisy” Over DACA

Malik Obama took to Twitter Tuesday to rip his brother Barack for his “complete hypocrisy” over DACA.

Zeituni Onyango was the Aunt Malik tweeted about.

According to USA Today, Onyango passed away in 2014:

Onyango moved to the U.S. from Kenya in 2000 and was denied asylum by an immigration judge in 2004. But she remained in the country illegally, living in Boston public housing.

Her immigration case made headlines before Obama’s election in 2008. …

She was eventually granted asylum in 2010 by a judge who said she could be in danger if she returned to Kenya because of her relationship with Obama.

The New York Times reported the former President skipped his Aunt’s funeral, opting for a round of golf instead.

After Zeituni Onyango, the woman President Obama once called Auntie, died in a South Boston nursing home this month, her closest relatives gathered her belongings at her nearby apartment. There, framed photographs of her with the president covered the wall.

Weeping before a polished wood coffin at her wake this past Saturday, they described Ms. Onyango, the half sister of the president’s father, as “the spirit of the Obama family” and talked about raising money to send her body back to Kenya. Mr. Obama helped pay funeral expenses and sent a condolence note, Ms. Onyango’s family members said, but the president did not attend, as he was golfing.

After Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ announcement Barack Obama posted a statement on Facebook.
Obama calls DREAMERS “some of our best and brightest young people… who want to contribute to the country we love.”

Obama then plays his race card, something we are all very familiar with after his eight years in the White House.

But at least 22 times Barack Obama told reporters and constituents, “I cannot pass amnesty through executive action… I am not a dictator.”

At least 22 times Obama said he couldn’t do executive amnesty himself. Then he implemented an immunity scheme via executive fiat. “In bypassing Congress, Obama blatantly ignored the rule of law that is the foundation of our democracy and violated his presidential oath to uphold the laws of this land.”

Ramos asked then President Obama:

Mr. President, my question will be as follows: With an executive order, could you be able to stop deportations of the students? And if that’s so, that links to another of the questions that we have received through univision.com. We have received hundreds, thousand, all related to immigration and the students. Kay Tomar (ph) through univision.com told us — I’m reading — “What if at least you grant temporary protective status, TPS, to undocumented students? If the answer is yes, when? And if no, why not?”

Obama replied:

“With respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportations through executive order, that’s just not the case because there are laws on the books that Congress has passed, and I know that everybody here at Bell is studying hard, so you know that we have three branches of government. Congress passes the law, the Executive branch’s job is to enforce and implement those laws, and then the Judiciary has to interpret the laws, there are enough laws on the books by Congress that are very clear in terms of how we have to enforce our immigration system, that for me to simply, through Executive Order, ignore those Congressional mandates would not conform with my appropriate role as president.”
