Federal Agents Conduct Enforcement Operation Targeting Ethnic Restaurants in State College

Federal agents took several people into custody and seized evidence during an enforcement operation Thursday in State College, which targeted ethnic restaurants.

The Homeland Security Investigations unit with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency conducted a targeted enforcement operation in the borough.

Ethnic restaurants were the target, including the China Dragon in the 100 block of South Allen Street where HSI and state Attorney General agents were on the scene.

Authorities were also at Hundred Degrees Hot Pot, My Thai and Fuji & Jade Garden located in the Westerly Parkway Plaza. Hundred Degrees Hot Pot opened late last year. The same family owns all three restaurants.
Other targets included Penang on North Atherton Street and the College Buffet at the North Atherton Place shopping center.

Throughout the day, authorities participating in the operation led several males and females in handcuffs into the State College Police Department.

The operation was based out of the State College Police Department. State College officers assisted federal agents with the investigation.

ICE Spokesperson Nicole Navas said Thursday morning she could not release specific details about the operation in order to not compromise the investigation.

Navas also noted there were no public safety concerns in connection to the operation.

Watch below to see video of police activity outside several restaurants along with several people being taken into custody. It's unclear whether anyone has been charged with any wrongdoing.

Why are we even pretending that this restaurant nonsense is even worth doing, when 'Bama has put out the word that our border will not be enforced?

This is just a shadow play, to fool the unwary. When thousands of illegals are coddled daily, what does it matter if a few of them have to find another job?

'Bama is using public resources, to colonize us with people whom we do not even need. It's all about 'Bama's disdain for Americans.
