CA:360 inmates deported from Costa Mesa jail
360 inmates deported from Costa Mesa jail
Thursday, December 27, 2007
A policy that has authorities in Costa Mesa checking the immigration status of its jail inmates has resulted in 360 deportations.
A year ago, Costa Mesa brought in a federal immigration officer to its jail full time. It was the first city in the Southland to do so.
Since then, Anaheim, Fullerton and L.A. County jails have followed suit.
Illegal immigrants make up about 10 percent of all those brought to the Costa Mesa Jail.

Hmmm...that number is about one apt. complex! We're going broke jailing, feeding, paying for lawyers etc. What a racket this is. I'd send them home asap with a one-way ticket at Mexico's expense! In fact why doesn't that idiot Governor we have(Schwarzennegger) demand some money from Mexico.
