AM I TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE US COAST GUARD OF THE UNITED STATES IS BEHIND THIS?

The property rights of American Citizens have just been squashed to "clear the way" for the US Coast Guard to RELOCATE from one town in Connecticut to another town in Connecticut?

WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE IN GROTON AND THAT TAX BASE?

And what is this about a Coast Guard Museum? Are there federal tax dollars going into this?

HAS THIS COUNTRY GONE NUTS OR WHAT?

Write the Coast Guard and tell them if they step one inch into this property issue that we're gonna slash their budget to NOTHING before October!!

I'll find the link for the Coast Guard and that crazy development firm out of Boston and post them both.

THAT DEAL IS NOT GOING DOWN WITH FEDERAL TAX DOLLARS INVOLVED!!

"economic development" my ass. That is total fraud.

Economic development is not stealing one town's tenant or one property owner's tenant by relocating them. That is a zero benefit for Connecticut and the United States and while entities have the right to relocate, they must do so on market terms on a free basis without stripping Americans of their Constitutional Property Rights, the single most sacred right we have to own and control our private property.

DID THE SUPREME COURT HAVE THESE FACTS BEFORE THEM WHEN THEY RULED?

Me thinks...the City Manager who has some connection with the Department of Homeland Security has a BUDDY in the US Coast Guard.

I would investigate this WHOLE CHARADE and see WHO IS GETTING PAID!!

If we had a Justice Department....maybe it would!!

Well.....I'll be. Haven't heard much out of 'em lately....thought they'd shut down due to lack of interest in law and order after they got Martha and the Tyco "Boys".

AND THIS PLOT THICKENS......IT'S SO THICK WE CAN BARELY STIR IT.

So....some bright idea guy....says...why don't we relocate the US Coast Guard from Groton to New London. Yeah!! There'd be alot of money in that. Uh Uh. And the City Manager says, that would be "just" the kind of anchor we'd need to develop this area of our town, but unfortunately, we don't own any land. So, the Boston Creeps say...will why don't you condemn it. Well....we can't do that....and some bright idea guy smellin' some "take" on this massive deal says...well....why don't you use your "economic development"....as your public purpose ....eeeeeeewwwww....sweeeeet....'cuz we want those 15 properties where those people live so we could build big new condos for some rich people and they don't want....you know....to have nice "middle class" neighbors....you know what I'm sayin'? That would kinda of "spoil" the whole thing....if you get my drift...

Well....is it legal? Well....probably not....but you know we've got some "friends" in some "high places"..... let us "make some calls" and "get this ball rollin'"!!

I could puke, get me a pail.

This has got stink all over it.

CALL THE COAST GUARD; SEND THEM EMAILS!! PUT AN END TO THIS NOW!! WRITE AND CALL THE US SUPREME COURT TOO--24 days the property owners have to request a rehearing on the matter!!

Oh....so now we have a pharmaceutical company PFIZER involved in this along with the US Coast Guard?

Listen folks, throughout Connecticut and a literally THOUSANDS of American Communities....there are these little things called INDUSTRIAL PARKS....all zoned for research and development....all ready with infrastructure.....all ready with EVERYTHING any company like PFIZER needs to do their "research".

THEY DO NOT NEED OCEANFRONT RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY. In fact, the zoning of the existing properties WON'T EVEN ALLOW IT so the project is a NON-CONFORMING USE TO BEGIN WITH!!

I've spent 30 years in economic development from several viewpoints, and believe me, NONE OF THIS IS NECESSARY, WARRANTED, REQUIRED, OR APPROPRIATE in any city anywhere!!

BOYCOTT PFIZER NOW!!

IF YOU OWN THEIR STOCK, DUMP IT NOW!!

Cities and states all over the country will be using this ruling to feed globalists and cowardly cheap-ass businesses like Pfizer. I thought they were reputable...but to pursue a site they don't need....for which there are many more suitable more appropriate alternatives is REPUGNANT and just goes to show....they have no morals or respect for Americans.

Given that fact, now, what respect do you think they'll have for YOU when they are concocting their "medicines".

SHUT THEM DOWN!!

BTW: Didn't they make a drug that they recently pulled from the market after MERCK pulled VIOXX....because it was KILLING YOU!!

I think so. I think that was Pfizer. Someone please correct me, if I am mistaken.

I'm going to research it now and post a correction if I am wrong.
