    More than 1,000 people will officially become U.S. citizens during a monthly naturalization ceremony Tuesday morning at the St. Paul RiverCentre.
    A release from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Regional Office of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) said the candidates - lawful permanent residents who have met all the requirements for U.S. citizenship - represent 92 countries, including Somalia, Burma, Mexico, Vietnam, Ethiopia and Laos.

    The candidates will take the Oath of Allegiance at the ceremony to finalize the naturalization process.
