MONTEREY, Calif.—The nation's security chief used a speech in Monterey to push for immigration reform.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told an annual gathering of federal judges and court officials Monday that immigration reform is on the top of her list of pressing issues.

Napolitano told the opening of the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference in Monterey that she will be involved in the drafting of reform legislation being pushed by the Obama administration.

She urged the judges and officials in attendance to weigh in with their congressional representatives before an open hearing process begins this fall.

During her speech, Napolitano also warned about an increase in cyber attacks and about possible new forms of the flu virus.

I find it ironic and even somewhat of a conflict of interest when the top chief in charge of enforcing our immigration laws is advocating that we as a nation, reward those who entered this country in violation of those laws.
In other words, these same illegals avoided detection by the agency you're in charge of, broke those laws which you SWORE to uphold and defend, and now you want to reward them!

Was Janet appointed to enforce this nations immigration laws, or to be a top cheerleader for Obama's mass amnesty agenda? I think we deserve an answer to that question.

To me, this is absolutely no different than the director of the FBI advocating we give those who steal from banks a work release program instead of prison time. People would question his sanity. But nobody blinks an eye when the head of Homeland Security advocates basically the same thing!

Why even have laws if we are not going to enforce them! Why have immigration laws if every twenty years we are going to pass mass amnesties to reward those who ignored our laws.

I simply do not understand how we as a nation allow this to happen. This country is going down a disturbing path and these A-holes in charge, are doing nothing but roaring full speed ahead!
