Men arrested after struggle with deputies

A man with a pellet gun designed to look like a handgun was arrested Friday after struggling with deputies, and a second man was arrested after deputies say he tried to interfere in the fight.

Pedro Domingo Francisco, 41, of 205 Third St. N., Unit B, and Roberto Juarez, 24, of 202 Third St. N., were arrested by Collier deputies at the intersection of Second Avenue and North Second Street in Immokalee. Both men were charged with resisting arrest without violence and are being held for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Deputies were sent to the area where Domingo Francisco was arrested in response to reports of a man armed with a handgun. When one deputy arrived on scene, he found another deputy already in a fight with the suspect, who was screaming in Spanish and resisting “by flailing his arms and legs,â€
