PORT ST. JOE -- A vaccine is all that stands between Simone Davis and U.S. citizenship.

But the 17-year-old English native refuses to receive the Gardasil human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine and objects to its inclusion in a list of vaccinations required for immigrants seeking to become U.S. citizens. It is designed to prevent cervical cancer.

“I don’t want to get that shot,â€

She is right about that vaccine.

Judicial Watch, concerned about the rush to market and mandate a drug with possible serious adverse effects, filed its first Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request on May 9, 2007, and received 1,637 adverse event reports on May 15, 2007. These reports are submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) and used by the FDA to monitor the safety of vaccines.

Perhaps Miss Davis spotlighting the absurdity of this requirement will put an end to the pharmaceutical manufacturers' extortion of the public.

Interesting isn't it?

Millions of illegal aliens are permitted to stream across our borders without benefit of health screenings, never mind vaccinations.

The government has dropped it's ban prohibiting those with AIDS entry into this country.

They refuse to close the borders during a flu epidemic.

And yet they will deny citizenship to a legal immigrant who refuses to take an unncessary, and very risky, Gardisil shot?

I would never take the shot nor have my child.
I have read all the risks and besides I don't trust my country now.

BUT, I hope this gets more illegals and Visa people OUT OF MY COUNTRY!

That's nothing......did you see, just recently, where they now have a vaccine they developed for young men and boys to, ostensibly, prevent penile cancer?

And, just like Gardisil, there is talk of trying to make it mandatory.......with both being administered to infants with required "boosters" being given at however many year intervals.

Someone please tell me where infants and small children need to be given vaccines for cancers that are....allegedly.....caused by sexual transmission?

And what further makes this even more ludicrous is the extremely low incidence of penile cancer in the first place. It's evidently, very rare.

This is just insanity.....plain and simple.
