I have no sympathy at all for stores that cater only to Hispanics and then cry a river of tears when the lose business. There is a grocery in my town that caters to Hispanics. I was out shopping with a friend that insisted on making a stop there. At the meat counter, the butcher kept making derogatory comments about us in Spanish, not knowing that my friend is fluent in Spanish. She complained to the manager and left the store without making a purchase but I suspect it made no difference in the long run. Of course, I had to make my point after we left the store.

I’m tired of all this crying over criminals and their supporters. I'd prefer to see an improvement on the title:
Fleeing Phoenix out of fear of immigration law
I think it will hopefully be:
Fleeing the USA out of fear of immigration law
I would never be so arrogant as to move to another country and expect them to change for me.

This has got to be an improvement for the area of Phoenix known as Maryvale. My niece and nephew (white, not Hispanic) "fled" Maryvale with their 2 children 10 years ago and moved to another suburb because of the constant gunfire at night and the violence.

Taking back Maryvale is a step in the right direction.

Average rent for a small 2 BR apartment in Brooklyn: $2000/Mo.

Average number of Americans and/or Legal Immigrants living in such an apartment: 4 to 6 (5)
Average number of IAs living in such an apartment: 12 to 20 (16)

I can't provide statistical evidence because such statistics are illegal to be collected. The SOP here in Brooklyn. "We're told we can't believe our lying eyes."

May I suggest that if you are a Mexican living illegally in Arizona that there seems to be space for urban expansion over the border
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

So what? Tthats business. Its tuff to open a retail store no matter what the circumstances. To put all your money into a place that caters to the illegal alien population is stupid. No one wants dollar stores everywhere anyway. And I dont think I would eat at a resturant that might be run by illegal aliens because I would be afraid I'd get sick.

Good -- The illegal Aliens that are there, know who they are and what the problem is --and they need to move and MOVE NOW!!

There will be no rest for an ILLEGAL Alien's life in the U.S.

There needs to be no amnesty or mass roundup deportation -- just gradual humane enforcement of the law --- illegal Aliens will know what they need to do --- will find their way -- and they can walk out as easily as they walked in...

Some of those leaving are U.S. citizens or legal residents who believe that all Latinos in the state are already being targeted by police. Vela, for example, said he had been stopped by police while driving to his restaurant "more times than I can count."

He is full of crap that he has been stopped more times then he can count. He chose a business with a marketing plan to cater directly to the Hispanic community. I am sure when things were good he had no complaints. Now they are leaving is marketing plan just fell apart. Well, that happens when you tend to specialize in a particular segment and that demand goes away. You make your bed you lay in it.

43RD Avenue & Thomas is in the heartland of illegal aliens. Yes, illegals are leaving that is a fact. Many businesses and apartment communities who have for years catered to the illegals in that area are all suffering as they should be. They were responsible for assisting in the illegal alien criminal stay in Arizona.

Boohoo he lost his rental home that he was renting to illegal aliens. He is a prime example of greedy people who sell out the country for a buck and now he is getting his just rewards.

As another poster stated maybe he should consider moving back to India.
