A total of 77 vehicles were seized by authorities in Juárez during the past month because they were reported stolen, officials said.

Juárez city officials published a list Sunday with details about the vehicles that includes make, model, year, license plate and the vehicle identification number (VIN).

The plates may not match the vehicle's VIN because because stolen auto rings sometimes remove the original plates.

The vehicles were secured in one of the Juárez city police impound lots.

Among the vehicles recovered between Nov. 10 and Dec. 10 are SUVs, sedans, vans and pickup trucks.

Chihuahua state authorities said anyone with questions or requests to view the vehicles first should contact state stolen auto investigators. The main telephone for the Chihuahua state Fiscalia General is 01152-656-629-3300 if dialing from the United States.

The office is at the Fiscalia General del Estado at Ejercito Nacional and Aserraderos in Juárez.
