An illegal immigrant being smuggled into Illinois told police he was “cold and scared” after being kicked out of a vehicle he was riding in.
Twenty-year-old Kleyver Gutierrez-Arceda called the Kendall County Sheriff’s police Saturday morning to report that he was being smuggled into Illinois and that he had been kicked out of the vehicle he was riding in, according to a release from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.
He told police he was “cold and scared” and police discovered he had an order of deportation from the Department of Homeland Security, the release said. He was held at the sheriff’s office to be picked up by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
