Four illegal immigrant men indicted in gang rape, kidnapping

ALIPAC Note: We have confirmed that these four men are illegal aliens.

Four Pitt County men were indicted on rape charges Monday during a biweekly session of the Pitt County grand jury.

Fernando Cruz, 41, Walter Morales Ramires, 26, Luis Mateo Morales, 24, and Pedro Vasquez, 27, all of 5083 N.C. 903 South, were indicted on first-degree rape and first-degree kidnapping charges.

Cruz, Morales and Vasquez remained at the Pitt County Detention Center on Wednesday under $750,000 secured bonds. Ramires is jailed under a $766,515 secured bond.

The men were among more than a dozen people indicted by the grand jury Monday afternoon.

Pitt County Sheriff's reports say the woman was approached by four men the night of July 15 on Tobacco Road in Greenville.

The woman, who said she was acquainted with two of the men, reminded one of the men he owed her $10, reports stated.

The woman said she got into the vehicle with the four men with the understanding they were traveling to the store to get change, reports stated.

The woman told deputies she was driven more than five miles to a field path about 200 yards off Roundtree Road where the rapes took place. She later escaped, according to reports.

    Four kidnapping, rape suspects charged

Four Ayden men suspected of kidnapping a Greenville woman and raping her in a field a few miles from the Greene County line were in custody Monday.

Fernando Cruz, 41, Walter Ramires, 26, Luis Morales, 24, and Pedro Vasques, 27, all of 5083 Highway 903 South, were charged with first-degree rape and first-degree kidnapping Saturday.

Cruz, Morales and Vasques were being held in the Pitt County Detention Center on Monday afternoon under $750,000 secured bonds.

Ramires was under a $766,515 secured bond.

Lee Moore, Pitt County Sheriff's Office chief of investigations, said the men approached the victim on Tobacco Road in Greenville on Friday night.

Moore said the woman, who is acquainted with two of the men, reminded one of the men he owed her $10.

"They told her to hop in the car, and they would get change at the store, but they never made it there," Moore said.

Moore said the men drove more than five miles to a field path about 200 yards off Roundtree Road where the woman told detectives each took a turn raping her, Moore said.

"She was fighting the whole time," Moore said.

"She got away and was able to catch a ride with a passing motorist."

Moore said the woman's familiarity with two of her attackers aided detectives in locating the men.

Monday, detectives were following up on information gathered during questioning.

The men could be connected to another rape on the same field path, Moore said.

Unfortunately, these mens legal status in the United States will go unnoticed by the general public. The reporters, editors, and newspaper should have a responsibility to tell the public that these men shouldn't have been here in the first place, but the purposely hide that fact.

You've got that right MW. IMO it is imperative we hold them every bit as responsible as we do any politician or the illegals themselves. They don't even come close to being "unbiased" and when the whip comes down they will not be forgotten. They are part & parcel of this whole problem!

I still wonder why concerned citizens are not told when these crimes are committed by illegals? Reporters should tell the whole story. It's not our responsibility to track down the legal status of these criminals.

Who do they think they're protecting anyway? This young woman was probably unaware of the danger she was placing herself in. Had known what could happen to her, she might never have got into the car.

Had this crime occured in Delaware, I can assure you that the legal status of the perp/perps would NEVER be disclosed by the Delaware News Journal, which holds the news monopoly on the entire state.

I know there are a few other Delawarean members here who, if they read this, will back up the above statement 100%.
