the vote was mostly against perceived loss of French sovereignty, but also against the opening up of the borders to more cheap labor from Eastern Europe.... it does not do much with respect to the outsourcing of jobs to other parts of the world, (there are not many French-speaking places in the world, except for Africa; French Canadians don't qualify due to their yukky accent) or against the new definition of "globalization"...

EVERYONE--The French are who they are. We are indebted to them for helping us in the Revolutionary War. It is entirely possible that without the French who died with our American Revoluationaries that we would have been defeated due to lack of weapons, manpower, and Navy.

We saved the French during WWII.

We are blood brothers in Freedom.

Here is what has happened to France since WWII.

Communist elements invaded their country. They are virtually a socialist country. As time passes under these conditions, your view of life and the world changes. They are also 25% Muslim and Muslim's will not stand with the US on many things.

France needs us and we need France.

Iraq was the FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY OF OUR TWO COUNTRIES that we were not on the SAME SIDE of FREEDOM.

Chirac did not want to go into Iraq because he's a CROOK and had his hand in the cookie jar on the Oil for Food Program and scheming oil deals with Russia behind our backs.

If Chirac had not been their leader, I believe the French would have stood with us in Iraq. The French have history in Iraq. They occupied Iraq for many years I believe. Please correct me if I'm mistaken on that.

The FRENCH
1. during the Revolution the French waited to "help us" until the last possible moment........and were manipulated into it by Lafayette & Franklin. Lafayette came to America WITHOUT France's approval.

2. They've never, or almost have never, STAYED AND FOUGHT in any other war. They run everytime. {the French foreign legion doesn't count...they're NOT French}

3. They, the French.........GAVE UP PARIS to the NAZIS. And, before they did that dead.........they GAVE UP THE JEWS TO THE NAZIS. Children INCLUDED.

4. The French, just this year, SURRENDERED in the war games held off the coast of Italy. The Italians, French & Israelis participated. The FRENCH SURRENDERED and the Israelis won over Italy. They surrender even in peace time.

5. I believe Iraq was a British colony and the Brits were instrumental {along with some of the others including the USA} in breaking up the gulf into the current countries. We, Roosevelt, was responsible for putting the SAUDs into power in S. Arabia with a secret "oil deal"---which btw, still exists. It wasn't Bush's deal.........it was a Dem deal during WWII.

6. As we speak, the wonderful French are making deals with IRAN. Weapons & tech deals abound, which can only hurt the USA and the free world.

7. THE FRENCH ARE COWARDS & SOCIALISTS and, by the way, don't have much love for the USA........PERIOD.

The only reason why they voted down the EU constitution is that they are AFRAID {and rightly so} of massive MUSLIM IMMIGRATION. Their biggest fear is that Turkey will be allowed into the EU. "Open Borders"...remember? Their governments cannot control the Muslims just as our government cannot or will not control the Latino immigration here.

2ndamendsis--I knew you would KNOW the facts on the French. I'm still grateful to Lafayette....better late than never kind of thing!!

But, I know the French are not the same as they once were. They have always been abit on the "hard to undestand" side.

BUT, today, they did the right thing because no nation should ever give up its sovereign territory and allow uninvited persons to enter their nation without approval.

ON THIS POINT, concerning sovereignty, where the French went, so go the Brits, and the Americans.

Immigration is insane worldwide. It is no one's right anywhere in the world to enter a sovereign nation without invitation or approval, which can be withheld for any reason, reasonable or not.

Immigration, this barging into someone's country is NOW DECLARED OVER....."globally".

Take that Crones...Take that Foxey....Take that POPE....Take that ACLU, I mean..... OBL-ACLU....(who do you think is gonna feed you NOW)....I see a bunch of lawyers hittin' the street to chase some ambulances!!

You know, Judy, we've been waiting for some years to "hopefully" see some in Europe start to wake up. When last we were there it was sad and extremely disturbing.

I actually fought with people on the street because of the unbelievable trashed beauty of certain areas due to the lax immigration. They, THEY the RESIDENTS LOVED the immigration of filthy, panhandlers throughout their countries. "We're the EU".......was the response. Now look.

In only a little over a year it's completely out of hand. And now they squawk. the dif is that we've been squawking! They willingly gave up their money, for goodness sakes.

Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled with this event. It will at least stall the globalists for a short time.

PS: Lafayette came to fight in the Revolution without France's blessing. He "disobeyed" and YES, we owe much to him.

Yes I agree 2ndamendsis...we have been fighting all the while. But, that's because we are the Americans and they only the French!!



I am so thrilled to know this piece of history about Lafayette. I never knew that and suppose I always assumed the French had authorized him.

Lafayette was a Great Man. And I'm glad we have a Square in Washington DC named after him and almost every state has a city named Lafayette....well maybe not every state, but many!!
