The World Zionist Organization (WZO) is “working on a plan to bring hundreds of thousands of French Jews to Israel.” The population of Jews in France is roughly 453,000.
Here’s why, according to WZO Vice-Chair Yaakov Hagoel: “Anti-Semitism is increasing and France is surrendering to jihad.”
Hagoel continued:
“The worsening economic situation, and the growth of radical Islam are creating a one-time opportunity to break down bureaucratic barriers and bring the Jews of France to Israel.”
The WZO’s plan follows increasing violent Islamic antisemitism that as yet has been largely being ignored in the EU.
Back in January 2018, Ricard Abitbol, President of the Confederation of Jews in France, declared: “In a few decades, there will be no Jews in France….We can be hurt by words, but we don’t mind, but when we are hurt by a knife, a gun, you can’t say I don’t mind.”
It is no secret how Jews and Israel are presented in Islam (see HERE).
Elsewhere in the EU:

  • Five months ago, “Hungarian European Parliamentarian Balázs Hidvéghi declared more broadly that ‘radical Muslim antisemitism’ is on the rise in Europe thanks to massive illegal immigration.”
  • In Sweden, Jews were reported to be hiding their identity as violent Islamic anti-Semitism increases.
  • Even Angela Merkel has admitted that anti-Semitism is coming to the country from “refugees or people of Arab origin” (those were her own words). But rather than confront the problem head-on, the onus was thrown on Jews: the German government’s anti-Semitism commissioner warned Jews to avoid wearing kippahs in public.
  • It was recently revealed that German authorities issued instructions that incidents of Islamic antisemitism must be registered as “right-wing” ones.

“‘We must bring French Jews to Israel – that is the Zionism of today,'” by Yori Yalon, Israel Hayom, July 12, 2020:
World Zionist Organization Vice Chair Yaakov Hagoel submits plan to Aliyah and Integration Ministry to provide aid to new families from France, as well as help acclimating. “We must break down bureaucratic barriers,” he says.
The World Zionist Organization is working on a plan to bring hundreds of thousands of French Jews to Israel which includes a database of potential employers for the French arrivals; aid for families; and help enlisting in the IDF.
The special plan, conceived by WZO Vice-Chair Yaakov Hagoel, has been submitted to Aliyah and Integration Minister Pnina Tamano-Shata and is under discussion.
Hagoel said, “All the government ministries must enlist on this matter and bring the Jews of France to Israel, that is the Zionism of today.”
In the introduction to the plan, Hagoel writes that for the foreseeable future, French Jews will be leaving France.
“The Jews will leave France. The situation in France is getting worse every day, and the economic situation is deteriorating. Anti-Semitism is increasing and France is surrendering to jihad,” he writes.
Hagoel adds that the Jewish community that remains in France has ties to Zionism, and that according to surveys, French Jews contribute to Israel in a number of ways, including spending many of their holidays here.
“Since 2015, there has been a drop in the number of French Jews making aliyah because of obstacles and difficulties making a life here. The corona crisis, the worsening economic situation, and the growth of radical Islam are creating a one-time opportunity to break down bureaucratic barriers and bring the Jews of France to Israel,” Hagoel continues.
“Every shekel we invest in a new immigrant from France will come back as 15 shekels 10 years from now. That is Zionism, that is Judaism, and that is our tradition…..
