6 suspected gang members held on cocaine charges

Six suspected gang members are in jail —some awaiting possible deportation— after police apparently found drugs and a stolen gun inside their home.

Members of the Gwinnett County Police Department's gang unit were tipped off about gang activity at a duplex at Ferrite Loop in Lawrenceville last week, said Cpl. Illana Spellman, spokeswoman for Gwinnett police. Accompanied by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, the gang unit went to the duplex to investigate on Jan. 23.

When a male resident opened the door, the officers could smell burning marijuana. The resident allowed police inside, where a search allegedly turned up small amounts of marijuana and cocaine as well as a stolen handgun.

Police say all but two of the seven men in the house admitted being members of the "La Raza" gang.

One was only 15 years old.

Wilfredo W. Torres, 25, Omar Barbosa-Cruz, 23, Jose Discua, 17, Alejandro Garcia-Gill, 25, Josue Alberto Rodriguez, 17, and Geovany Ceron Torres, 21, are being held without bond at the Gwinnett jail on charges of marijuana and cocaine possession. U.S. Immigration and Customs agents have flagged Barbosa-Cruz, Garcia-Gill, Wilfredo Torres and Geovany Torres for possible deportation, according to jail records.

Police allowed the 15-year-old to return to his parents' home. That is routine procedure for juveniles, Spellman said.

    The "La Raza" gang!

The federal government funds La Raza to the tune of 5-10 million a year!
We need to contact our Congress about this and halt the funding.

I view violent gangs as terrorists.

Let's fax this over to Janet Murguia the CEO of the biggest "La RAZA" gang of all! She should be proud, shouldn't she?
