Mike Cutler’s Testimony Before the Indiana Senate

Several weeks ago, on January 23, I was called upon to testify before the Indiana State Senate on the issue of an immigration bill that was to be voted upon by a committee of that legislative body that would, among other things, enable the State of Indiana to revoke the business license of any company that repeatedly and knowingly hired illegal aliens. I wrote a commentary about that hearing. The arguments that were made by the opponents of this commonsense legislation were nothing short of astounding! A representative of the travel and hospitality industries actually said that their were two types of immigrants, documented and undocumented. Incredibly he stated that there is no problem with either group of people coming to the United States and that illegal immigration was not only not a problem but that our country actually needs both categories of “immigrantsâ€
