Yes older people are wiser, but there is another component to this divide. We are all old enough that we saw what American life was in its glory days. Good schools, safe schools. Good jobs, secure jobs, good pay. Almost all Americans could afford to buy a house at one time...and that was with just one worker in the family. Not so anymore. Young people came into the picture later...after the American Dream had been sloshed through the mud and mainly destroyed. They cant see the contrast between what America was and what she is today. They dont know what has been lost because they have never had it. They think there is nothing that needs protecting because they did not see the slaughter as it occurred.

Why do they always place the immigration issue in the race column?

Sure kids now are much more use to a multiracial society. But that does NOT mean that older people who are against illegal migration do so because they want to return to a white society.

I mean, I could care less what color Americans are or will be in the future. What I do care about are the American values that created this great country and at the base it is the rule of law, one law for all, applied equally.

That is being lost with the monied elite's push for illegal immigration. That is the real danger to our country... a country without laws.
Take a stand or all there will be left to do is to ask the last person in the country we once called America to lower the flag one last time.

Just wait until ten or twenty years when these young people wake up and take a look around at what they lost in their country. This here period is the tipping point. The rest will be all downhill because they didn't have a clue how to defend the foundations and beneficial past lessons of America.

I really blame the schools and liberal higher education tangents for failing modern students. Schools are in it for the money students bring in and not for teaching traditional coursework. Everybody wants their kid to graduate from high school and go to college but the degree is the goal, not a strong American education. So the kids come out as handicapped future specialists with little understanding of foundation and economy. All the electives and pop culture courses are substitute shams that only delay the maturity of a person. As a result, students have no functioning matrix of careful analysis for conservative thought. All they ever hear is "you can grow up to be anybody you want to be" baloney. Nobody taught them how to be conservative or adhere to social rules so naturally they think there aren't any. False expectations like these promote dissatisfaction and demands for change. Change brings reconstruction and reconstruction breaks down stability.

Ironically, it is the yound people who will suffer the most. We will pass on and they are the ones who will have to live with the consequences of the further deterioration of this country. So....how can we make them see what has already been lost? I think the only way they can see where the country is headed is for them to be able to understand where it came from. But...oh ...wait....they dont teach American History anymore do they?
