What about the girls mother? She needs to be charged too. No one can tell me the mother didnt suspect something was going on. 10 years old! What is happening to our country?

Butterbean, I would have to think this girl is now in protective custody. The mother was in the least blissfully ignorant if not outright neglectful.

I would assume she was working and leaving her daughter at home with this animal alone, and he was taking advantage of the opportunity just handed to him.

We all know, that any person, especially a parent (mother) would have a hunch something was not right. Not right with this guy when she first met him, not right with her daughter, and in the long run, not right with her daughters physical being.

I guess, it seems to me, that I have seen a good amount of sexual deviancy by those here illegally from the Latin American countries, and have to wonder why? I will not say all are this way, but it seems a good deal of those who are here illegally just lean like this and I cannot understand why.

This little girl had her baby by caessarean section and both her and her daughter are in foster care. The mother and illegal boyfriend scumbags are both serving prison sentences.

I hope the sentances are long. I wonder does a ten year old girl have any rights to her baby or does foster care split them up?

Marquis, good question. This has got to be a difficult one for any agency to deal with. First you have a child, who's concept, albeit it was obvious she hit puberty, her mind is not yet capable of really grasping the situation she is in. Ten year olds, are sometimes still playing with Barbies and other toys, so to actually deal with motherhood? Not sure it is even possible to have the capacity yet to even understand how to.

Ok, I will get personal with you all. I was a rebelious teen, and wound up having my first at 15. She is now a fully functioning adult, 27, married,with a 5 year old son, and a baby on the way. I was fortunate in that I had came from a large and quite functional family situation, I was brought up normal. I was still inmature at that age, and dealing with a baby, let alone that she was colicky for the first four months of her life and EVERYTHING made her spit-up, was tough enough, then getting out on my own at 18 with a then 3 year old already, and I was just beginning to understand how to deal with myself alone in the world, but to have to manage it for her also, and then get myself up to work and her off to daycare alone was so much. We made it through, I met my husband and got married and all is well.

So me, knowing how hard it was as a teen, cannot imagine anyone at 10 being capable of dealing with the whole thing. I think this girl will have to have some intense therapy for a long time, and the baby should be adopted out with her approval. Any girl who has been sexually abused, and then had to go through this so young, is going to be an emotional mess, but to then attempt to be a mother when she is 18 (when the state would likely release her and her child)? No, I just do not think it is possible, or wise.

I am all for adoption in this case and keep this girl, if a psychologist believes it is best, in touch with the adoptive family and the child.

Draindog, I was 15, and not attempting to compare in any way other than to say how hard it was mentally, could you imagine at 10? As for situations, mine was with a teen boyfriend, not an adult, it was not a criminal act, whereas with this little girl it was not consensual and was a criminal act by a perverted adult who needs to be made into a woman (get the drift?) and then released into the general population with real men who have kids ....Then deport him after a few years of that!
