Republicans are blasting a last-ditch Democratic effort to pass a massive spending bill laden with about 6,000 earmarks as a “smack in the face to taxpayers.â€

Ain't that the truth! If there is one thing the Repubs are good at, it is tricking its constituents into thinking what it is doing is good. Look at this tax debate. There has been no time in our history where the rich has tricked poor people into voting against their interest like now. Orwell was right, except the PEOPLE are voting for their restriction of rights.
