Background on Liberman-designer of LA Billboard

Found this over at Free Republic in the thread about the John and Ken sidewalk protest.

Courtesy of the emigration newsletter. LL

The designer of the billboard, Lenard Liberman, is a Jewish lawyer from Mexico. His family came here, took US citizenship, but remain Mexican. They own multiple Mexican language radio and TV stations in California and Texas. He said that the billboard was designed to boost viewer-ship for the upcoming May sweeps. Cinco de Mayo, don't you know. Anyone who is offended by the billboards, well, too bad, Los Angeles is an Hispanic city.

Of course their heritage is Mexican. My question is this: can they hold citizenship of two countries at the same time? I thought that when you became a citizen of USA, you pledged allegience to us and agreed to leave citizenship of the other country from whence you came.

Can anyone clarify this for me? If this is true, then Liberman's citizenship should be revoked and subsequently, he should be deported as an illegal alien!

    Thanks!

This guy went on a radio station here in Los Angeles, and claimed he never heard of "MECHA" and said "What MENCHA? (with an "n") never heard of it." Is that a third grade trick for lying or what?

Then he said he was not "that into politics."

He was also ran a controversial promotion / reality show where the grand prize was a "green card."

Whoa! It doesn't say that he remained a Mexican citizen...I took it to mean that he remained Mexican in his heart and mind and activities...I don't believe that dual citizenship is possible in America.

    RR

That doesn't mean that his American citizenship can't be revoked. It can.

Good answer culion. I didn't read everything you linked and hope this is not redundant. Vicente likes to brag about the Mexican law that permits Mexicans to hold dual citizenship. He also likes to brag about serving 120 million Mexican citizens, 100 million in Mexico and 20 million in America (or something like that). What a guy. Master of corruption with 120 million minions who support his corrupt administration, and are too ignorant to know it.

DUAL-CITIZENSHIP is allowed with certain countries. Fox lobbied for it

    Example: Israel

Vicente brags about 20 million of his people fleeing economic failure in Mexico? No wonder he wants his people to remain illiterate and uneducated. They better!
