New immigration laws threaten UK curry houses

The Guild of Bangladeshi Restaurateurs has refreshed its warnings of a "curry crisis" in Britain if the Home Office fails to make a u-turn on plans to toughen up immigration policy.
Draft legislation, which includes the introduction of a points system for foreign workers who want to work in the UK, is currently being considered by the government, prompting fears of a staff shortage in ethnic restaurants.

Moula Miah, a restaurateur and President of the Guild's West Midlands branch, said: “Cooking never has been about diplomacy. With some 9,000 curry restaurants in the UK and insufficient chefs, it looks as if a curry crisis is becoming unavoidable which, in turn, could have a severe impact on tourism especially here in the Midlands, the curry capital of the UK.â€

My God, man.........open all the borders and just let everyone from everywhere in. This is a huge crisis. Just as serious as Senator Mikulski's crab meat shortage, Diane "chicken little" Feinstein's tomatoes rotting on the vine and Larry "wide stance" Craig's potatoes rotting in the ground.

My God, the sky is falling and both the UK and the U.S. are unable to function without illegal aliens making the UK curry and in the U.S.: smashing Maryland crabs, picking California tomatoes, digging Idaho potatoes.

Yep, great nations can't survive without illegal aliens!!!

The elites are driving the whole world into proverty just for cheap labor...what a bunch of asses.

The tomatoes destined for my table will not rot on the vine because I am growing and picking them myself, in my own back yard.
