Starting wages were only recently raised to $7.25, and workers said that the highest wage for Latino production workers was $7.75 per hour, $5 per hour less then most packing plants in Iowa. Other employees were given the easiest jobs, more breaks, and were paid substantially more than Latino workers, who are mostly from Mexico or Guatemala.

What they forget to mention is that the "other" workers are LEGAL workers with documents. The illegal alien workers were paid $5 an hour less, they shouldn't be here at all, undercutting Americans salaries.

Slave conditions.. it's time for a lot of these plant managers, owners and board members to go to jail and pay massive fines

American workers have worked for years, struggling to make their jobs pay a decent wage and provide decent benefits . And along comes the illegal workers who take the Americans jobs for a lot less money and no benefits. They have no complaints. And even while they're working for little money and no benefits, the ousted American workers are struggling to care for their families. Business always wants cheap labor. Thats why Americans have had to work so hard to improve their jobs. Now the illegal can fight for the same decent wages and benefits. It takes time and time is something they don't have, because when business is finished with them , there is a long line of illegals crossing the border to take their jobs. Its hopeless for them to get any more than they have. So they may as well stop complaining and take what they can get for as long as they can get it. Stop complaining. Its your own choice.
