Assault Rifles Discovered Near River Banks in Starr County

STARR COUNTY - Automatic weapons. Ammunition. Military-style camouflage. It’s what you expect to see across the river, but this was found nearly 30 miles from the Starr County line. Starr County sheriffs deputies said these were found about 10 yards from the Rio Grande.

A lot of questions surround what they were doing here and who put them there. The three AK-47 replicas were wrapped in the camouflage and halfway buried. The camouflage uniform did not have any insignia on it. It’s a digital print camouflage. Authorities said it’s similar to what is used by the drug cartel.

The weapons were loaded; 118 rounds of ammo were found. Authorities do not believe smugglers were trying to sneak them into the country. It appears these assault rifles have been on U.S. land for three to four weeks.

The area where they were found is directly across Ciudad Mier on ranch land just west of Roma. The place the weapons and clothing were buried is not a smuggling route. Deputies turned the property over to ICE investigators. The feds are now in charge of this case.

That's nothing. A group of kids playing in a field on our side of the so called border found a cache of AK-47's. That is one nasty weapon. While foraging through Iraq Republican Guard bunkers in Desert Storm we found crates loaded with them. They can inflict a lot of damage. And for kids to discover these is beyond belief. Thank god they didn't play with those weapons but instead reported the find to law enforcement authorities.

How much is anyone willing to bet Napolitano's latest dog and pony border photo op charade was arranged with her Mexican government and drug cartel masters so they could clear that section of the border ahead of time. She then can claim there are no problems and return to DC (Mexico City North), proclaiming the border is more secure than ever while campaigning for open borders and amnesty while visiting our Mexican occupation authorities which is the only damn thing she's done as Homeland Insecurity Chief. That corrupt, incompetent and clueless woman is a sheer waste of taxpayer dollars.....
