    Commission on Immigration Reform

    Why don't we ALL call for a Commission on Immigration Reform before ANY new immigration policy/law is voted on.

    A Commission that will look at all the facts regarding immigration, what it means, how it impacts etc with a view to preserving the intergity of this great Nation. This Commission will arrive at conclusions and then we can go from there. Instead immigration and basically our national security is a political football.

    Good idea, but who's going to sit on this commission? The same corrupt leaders who are aiding and abetting in the destruction of this country through the passage of law which benefit the illegal invaders...

    I think we need a commission on immigration enforcement who's sole responsibility is to ensure current law we have on our books regarding immigration is being enforced. The courts cannot seem to do it and God knows our politicians will not!

    Then again, I do not advocate giving any more power to elected officials in this country. They cannot handle the reponsibilities they already have...

    it could be modelled after teh 9/11 commission. It has and can be bipartisan and free of ALL lobbying, business and socio thnoe centric interests.

    The only "reform" needed for illegal immigration is to finally and consistently enforce existing laws. For legal immigration, it's time for a pause.
