Congressional Hispanic Caucus hints Obama promised healthcare for illegal aliens

The leaders of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus are now pushing for a provision in any so-called ‘comprehensive immigration reform’ measure which would extend healthcare benefits to the millions of illegal aliens now in the country.

During the contentious healthcare debate earlier this year, the Caucus threatened to withhold their support for the legislation due to language in the bill which barred illegal aliens from participating in the program. They only voted for it after receiving a pledge that any amnesty bill passed, would allow illegal aliens to take part in the insurance exchanges, and would waive the five-year waiting period for legal residents to apply for Medicaid.

Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) recently told Politico: “The expectation was that everybody knew it was unfair and that a new immigration bill would correct that.â€

Had you been an innocent spectator at this speech to the U.S. Congress, you would have walked away with the impression that Mexico's President Calderon is much better at running the United States than Mexico.

Demand an end to any caucus created in Congress based on Race alone.

I am constantly angered by our own Congress being divided into groups based on race and the promotion of that race over the others in this country.
What are they thinking?

These special caucus members appear to me to be nothing more than race thugs whose intent is to promote the interest of one race over another, not any equality, and in this instance the Hispanic Caucus is promoting the interest of illegal foreign citizens of one race over the economic and physical security of the American people of all races. JMO

I used to be against healthcare for illegals but in the end we would be better off. If employers had to pay or deduct money from their paycheck for insurance then illegals would not be so desirable to hire. Also if those working had insurance coverage then the tax payers wouldn't have to pay for their medical bills. It would also decrease or prevent increases for insurance as hospitals get paid less for illegals and medicaid than they get paid by those insured.

Has it occurred to anyone that along with amnesty Mexicans would then try and force the same minority right protections and benefits Black Americans now have?
