Westlake High School freshman James Thompson said he shook his head in disbelief as he watched a skit performed during a pep rally last week in the gym.

Thompson said he and his classmates watched Dean of Activities James Marshall drive a golf cart decorated like a U-Haul truck into the gym, as two juniors using heavy Latino accents talked about “getting jobs and crossing the borderâ€

I think these whiners need to grow up and get on with their lives. They think nothing of making "fun" of other races and ethnicities.

What does Miss Marisela think about Pepin, the little black monkey boy in mexican cartoons? Has she ever called a white , black or asian person a gabacho? gringo? Esumbaway? spichink? whetto?

Don't minorities usually say that only White people are racist?

Plans are already in the works for a speaker series next school year where guests will discuss diversity and sensitivity to race, culture and religion, Davis said.
