More Illegal Aliens Giving Birth to Anchor Babies in Los Angeles than Total U.S. Births in 14 States

New wide-ranging analysis by the Center for Immigration Studies‘ Steven Camarotta reveals that there are an estimated 28,000 births to illegal aliens every year in the Los Angeles metro area, exceeding the total number of U.S. births in 14 states and the District of Columbia.


The children of illegal aliens are commonly known as “anchor babies,” as they anchor their illegal alien and noncitizen parents in the U.S. and eventually are allowed to bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the country through the process known as “chain migration.”

About 1-in-5 U.S. births — or 791,000 — are to legal and illegal immigrant mothers, with legal immigrant mothers accounting for about 12.4 percent of those births and illegal alien mothers accounting for 7.5 percent.


In the Los Angeles, California metro area, illegal alien births make up nearly 18 percent of all births in the region. In the Las Vegas, Nevada metro area, illegal alien births account for about 17 percent of all births.


California — a sanctuary state for illegal aliens — has the largest number of illegal alien births with about 65,000 illegal alien births every year. Texas has about 51,000 illegal alien births every year, while Florida has about 16,000 illegal alien births every year.


There are an estimated 12 million illegal aliens living across the U.S. at any given time. Most recent research by Yale University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, however, revealed that there is likely an estimated 22 million illegal aliens in the U.S. Additionally, every year, 1.5 million legal immigrants are admitted to the country.

The Dominican Republic Supreme court ruled against any birthright citizenship for persons born in transit. That makes sense. Their constitutional provision is worded differently than the US one, but somehow birthright citizenship had turned into an issue there. So with the right spin our provision could be put in check.

I also know it saddens most American citizens and many legal immigrants not in mixed immigration families with illegal aliens.

Our laws are there to protect even the ones with mixed immigration families. They left the nest for a reason, not all families want all their relatives sneaking into the US and invading their homes, asking them for money, food, housing, jobs, and bringing a great burden into the immigrant household already stressed dealing with their own families. It's not fair to those who came legally to allow illegal alien family or relatives to force their way in here and on to them. It's not right. They are no different than we are, and we wouldn't want our relatives invading our home and taking over. No, we wouldn't. We'd be incensed about it.

They do NOT come here for a better life. They have 6-7 children they cannot afford to feed in their own country. They have turned their countries into a breeding cesspool of trash and misery.

They come here and CONTINUE to have 6-7 children they cannot afford to feed. It is expensive to live here so they stuff 20 people into one single family residence. They continue their breeding misery and get what they can lie, cheat, steal and beg for free. Then they steal identities, live OFF the US taxpayers and send $50 BILLION back home over the border to their uneducated overbreeding relatives!!!

They are the cause of our county hospitals shutting down because they do NOT pay the bill for those 7 kids at $30 grand a pop. They are bankrupting our medical facilities and hospitals. We are paying high premiums for health insurance and car insurance DUE to illegal aliens. Give them nothing! Call ICE to deport them.

Now our property taxes are going up to pay for their kids schools. $15 grand per student WITH free breakfast, lunch and weekend meals, ESL classes. English only or you are NOT placed in our schools. Get them out of our schools, they have NO student visa to attend.

They destroy our neighborhoods with stuffing 20 people into one home and that should be a City Code violation! It is a fire hazard and health and safety hazard. Those 20 people in one home throw their garbage out the back door, the front yard, in the alleys! That is how THEY live where they came from. Get them out of here! They bring down property values which means LESS property taxes going back into the local coffers to pay for police, fire and local services.

They suck us dry! No papers, no entry, no rights, no free stuff!!

They cost US taxpayers $133 BILLION a year.

They ARE a public charge!

Cut off all freebies including healthcare and school. They are bankrupting BOTH of those institutions.

They are bankrupting this country. Their 6-7 children will be pregnant before age 16 and have 6-7 more and the cycle continues!

If Trump can appoint one more Supreme Court justice perhaps the birthright citizenship issue could be visited. As it is, I wouldn't trust Roberts with this issue---too collegial.

Apparently the SCOTUS has in the past ruled on the birthright issue---denying citizenship to only three classes. One class was offspring of foreign invading armies. Well...that leaves some room for discussion!
