An immigration enforcement organization contends that President-elect Donald Trump won't be able to implement his immigration enforcement agenda – unless the American public remains engaged in the process.
Promising to close down the southern border is arguably the most defining issue that propelled Trump to victory in last Tuesday’s duel against Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.
Now, the question many Americans are asking is: How much of the immigration agenda Trump touted during his campaign can – and will – be implemented?
Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) president William Gheen believes that many Americans will be disappointed that Trump won't be able to implement everything he proposed on the campaign trail.

And the pro-illegal aliens politicans – like Paul Ryan and John McCain and all the Democrats and the people in the media and the Soros groups – they're all still in power."
Gheen maintains that just how much can be accomplished to stop illegal immigration will depend on the same people who worked hard to get Trump elected.
"If everybody goes home and sits down, a lot of it – or most of it … or all of it – is not going to happen,” the immigration expert argues. “We have to keep the American public engaged in the process. And that will probably be the single-most determining factor of how much does or does not happen."
Gheen stresses that immigration reform-minded citizens need to take their fight to Washington if they truly want to see the change they voted for last week.
