Human Smuggler with Chinese Immigrants in Mexico Trying to Beat Trump’s Wall

MONTERREY, Nuevo Leon — The arrival of illegal immigrants trying to desperately cross into the U.S. before the arrival of President Elect Donald J. Trump to the White House continues to take place along Mexican highways near the border with Texas where cartel linked smugglers use buses and trucks to move their cargo.
This week, at the edge of the borders between Tamaulipas and Nuevo León, Mexican Federales pulled over a suspicious SUV with Tamaulipas license plates that was being used to move four Chinese illegal immigrants and two Salvadorans. The traffic stop took place at the 115 kilometer marker of the highway to Reynosa in the rural community of China, Nuevo León.
While the three men and a woman from China claimed they had a permit to legally stay in Mexico they were not able to prove it to law enforcement. The group was turned over to officers of Mexico’s National Immigration Institute assigned to the Nuevo León detachment.
A police source confirmed to Breitbart Texas that the illegal immigrants from Central America did not have any way to prove their legal status in Mexico. The human smuggler claims to be headed to Reynosa and refused to answer any questions by law enforcement.
Mexican police officers confirmed to Breitbart Texas that one of the strategies used by human smugglers to scare immigrants into going with them deals with spreading the claim that the trip to the U.S. will be more difficult and more expensive after Trump assumes power, builds the wall and places more troops at the border.
Another failed attempt at moving illegal immigrants to the border took place in the Monterrey suburb of Apodaca where two groups of illegal immigrants were caught getting on a passenger bus. Apodaca has been the scene of renewed violence as rival factions of the Los Zetas cartel continue to fight for control of the region.
In that stop, officers arrested 61 illegal immigrants. Out of the group, 53 came from Honduras, 5 from Guatemala and three from El Salvador. Authorities were able to care for five children who were traveling with the group.
During questioning from authorities, Alejandro “El Temo” Garcia del la Rosa said that the trip to the Texas border was planned with the help of 18-year-old Olga Castillo De la Cruz who is part of their human smuggling organization.
While Breitbart Texas has questioned Mexican immigration authorities about the the legal proceeding against human smugglers or the deportation of detained immigrants, Mexican authorities have not responded.
Nelly Morales, the director of the Casa Nicolas Shelter alerted local news outlets about a 20 percent increase of illegal immigrants being cared for in Nuevo León. Morales also claimed to have had African immigrants at the shelter who claimed to be heading north to the border city of Nuevo Laredo, a situation that had not been before seen in this border area.
