Hundreds Pack Meeting To Protest Immigration Laws
http://www.wsoctv.com/news/4861059/detail.html
Gastonia, NC -- Hundreds of people packed a town hall meeting Tuesday night to tell a local congresswoman what they want to change about immigration laws.
Representative Sue Myrick hosted tonight's meeting at her office in Gastonia.
It comes after Scott Gardner, a local high school teacher, was killed when an illegal alien crashed into Gardner's car.
Investigators charged the immigrant with drunk driving--his fifth DWI charge.
Rep. Myrick wants to toughen laws to make sure that illegal immigrants charged with crimes are deported sooner.
A spokesman for the Gardner family said the number of people who attended the town hall meeting Tuesday night indicates how much Gardner was respected.

Thee was more like 200-250 people there. Not including all of the police and media. The meeting was very calm, but the public was was very strong about their stance against illegal immigration.
