    The federal agencies combined efforts to arrest Luis Venancio Cueto-Ruiz, Leonardo Mateo Cueto-Ruiz, and Gilberto Ulloa-Aguirre Dec. 14 in Everett following a probe into their drug trafficking organization, which is believed to be linked to the Sinaloa Cartel.     On December 5, 2016, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), Los Angeles Field Office (LAFO) Deportation Officers (DO) Scott Palmer and Charles Smith were recognized by the Assistant Director of the FBI International Operations Division and the Director of the Federal Criminal Intelligence Service in Austria for their efforts in locating and arresting an Austrian fugitive living in the United States.

    ICE South Texas officers deport Honduran man wanted for manslaughter
    Jordy Javier Menjivar Molina, 22, is wanted in Honduras based on an Oct. 6, 2015, arrest warrant for manslaughter. According to the Republic of Honduras Technical Criminal Investigative Agency, on June 27, 2015, Molina argued with a patron about music at a local establishment. Molina stepped outside and retrieved a weapon from his vehicle that was used to murder Jose Hernan Rapalo Rodriguez. Rodriguez died immediately after being shot.

    Pennsylvania judge, public safety director and deputy charged in public corruption probe
    A magisterial district judge, the director of public safety and a deputy constable were indicted Friday on one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering and three counts of money laundering following a federal investigation, which included special agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and led by the Internal Revenue Service – Criminal Investigations, the FBI and the Pennsylvania State Police.

    In a series of arrests and searches conducted early Tuesday morning, law enforcement seized approximately eight kilograms of heroin, a number of firearms, approximately $500,000 in cash, luxury vehicles, and Rolex watches. One additional individual was arrested on state charges of trafficking 220 grams or more of cocaine.

Tutunjian was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Douglas P. Woodlock to 20 months of probation, 18 months of which must be spent at Coolidge House, a community correctional facility in Boston.

    Los Angeles-area man receives two-decade federal prison term for producing child pornography of 5-year-old
    Jeremy Matthew Meyerett, 41, was sentenced Monday by U.S. District Judge Virginia A. Phillips to 240 months in prison. Meyerett pleaded guilty in June to producing child pornography in a case arising from an undercover probe by the Queensland Police Service in Australia.

    Jesus Villalobos, 31, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Hayden Head to 300 months in prison. In handing down this sentence, Judge Head noted that Villalobos has a career of criminal activity which includes violence.

    Joel Acedo-Ojeda, 32, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Roger T. Benitez, who also ordered the defendant to forfeit $20 million and pay a $20,000 fine. Acedo-Ojeda pleaded guilty in June 2015 to conspiracy to commit international money laundering.
