PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials removed three employees from a Pikeville Mexican restaurant Monday.
Frank Justice, the owner of El Azul Grande, says ICE officials were there looking for a man from Salyersville. Justice said the man was not there, but three of his employees were taken by ICE officers to Louisville.
The restaurant closed for a while Monday afternoon after the employees were detained.
Justice did not tell WYMT the names of the employees taken into custody.
ICE officials left Justice the business card of a deportation officer with the Enforcement and Removal Operations division of ICE.
