Beheaded body discovered in Juárez

JUAREZ - A decapitated body was discovered Sunday afternoon in south Juárez. The head was left nearby on a rock, Chihuahua state police said.
The victim, a male in his early 30s, was stabbed to death, beheaded and left in the middle of the street, at Ajusco and Arenal Streets, Tarahumara neighborhood, the Chihuahua Attorney General's office in Juárez said in a release. No other evidence was found on the scene.

In another incident Sunday, a man was shot to death and another was injured after being attacked by several gunmen, officials said.

José Elías Román, 20, died at Amapolas and Magnesio Streets in the Cazadores Juarenses neighborhood. The other man survived the attack and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

On Saturday, gunmen burst into a home and shot to death four people in the early morning, officials said.

The three man and a woman were riddled with bullets in two bedrooms at a home at Puente de Conchos and Portaviones Streets, Puentes del Bravo neighborhood. A boy was wounded during the attack and was taken to a local hospital, according to state police.
