An illegal alien living in the United States has been charged with killing a North Carolina man in a deadly hit-and-run accident.

Neri Damian Cruz-Carmona, a 26-year-old illegal alien, allegedly left Jamar Rashaun Beach dead on a Raleigh, North Carolina street after he hit the man and fled the scene of the accident, according to police.

Cruz-Carmona turned left in his Honda car and failed to yield the right of way, hitting Beach on his motorcycle and killing him, police say. Following the crash, the illegal alien fled the scene, according to police, leaving Beach dead.

A neighbor who witnessed and spoke to WRAL about the crash called the accident “horrific” and said it was a scene that she will not be able to erase from her memory.

“I’ve been disturbed. I’m still disturbed talking about it,” the neighbor said. “I’m traumatized. It was horrific.”

This is the second deadly crash by an illegal alien that has left an American dead in less than a week. As Breitbart News reported, Logan and Jessica Wilson were killed on their motorcycle when an illegal alien allegedly hit them. The Wilsons leave three young children behind.

Man charged in fatal motorcycle crash in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have arrested a man following a fatal motorcycle crash on New Hope Church Road. Neri Damian Cruz-Carmona, 26, has been charged with felony hit and run causing serious injury/death.

Officials say Cruz-Carmona is an undocumented or illegal immigrant and is under an ICE detainer.

Police were searching Saturday for the driver of a car that fled the scene after crashing into a motorcycle. The accident occurred about 12:45 a.m. on New Hope Church Road between Atlantic Avenue and Green Road, police said.

Authorities identified the motorcycle rider that was struck as Jamar Rashaun Beach of Raleigh. According to the police report, the Honda was turning left onto Bonneville Court from New Hope Church Road. The Honda crashed into the motorcycle, which was traveling westbound on New Hope Church Road, when the Honda driver failed to yield the right of way.

"I've been disturbed. I'm still disturbed talking about it," said a neighbor who witnessed the incident.

The neighbor, who did not want to be identified, said she left her house after midnight to get cigarettes and returned to a crime scene.

"I'm traumatized. It was horrific," she said.

Beach died as a result of the crash, according to the police report.

The driver of the Honda fled from the scene, but the vehicle was located a short time later in front of a building in the 3800 block of Bonneville Court.

"They're going to have a high price to pay. I hope they find him for the family," the neighbor said. "I don't know why they left the scene. I don't know if they panicked."

Neighbors said they have few clues about the suspect, but they are hoping the driver will do the right thing.

"For the family's sake, I hope they come forward..." the neighbor said.

Cruz-Carmona was being held at the Wake County Detention Center on Sunday.

When they're deported and removed. Not one day or minute before. The US DOJ is responsible for deportation orders.

The family of a Raleigh man killed in a crash in September said he wouldn’t be dead if the man who hit him had not illegally entered the country.

The man who hit Jamar Beach, 26, pleaded guilty Friday to hit-and-run causing death–it was the only criminal charge prosecutors said they could defend in court.

The judge in the case handed down the maximum sentence of 20-33 months in prison, but Beach’s family said it’s just not enough.

“He had no business here in the first place and he should not have been operating a vehicle,” Beach’s mother Cameo Robinson said. “He didn’t have a license. So therefore he’s being treated better than the citizen who’s been killed.”

Investigators said they could not gather enough information to charge Neri Damian Cruz-Carmano–who entered the country illegally from Mexico–with driving while impaired or causing the accident, even though they believe he did both.

“He gets to go home with his two children. He goes home to his wife. My grandson, he doesn’t have a father,” Robinson said.

Beach’s son is just 2 years old. Beach’s family held up pictures during the hearing and cringed when the defense attorney pleaded for leniency.
