Illegal Alien Charged In Alcohol-Fueled Crash That Left Va. Man Dead




CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – On Sunday, Francisco J. Beltran-Perez, 20, reportedly ran through a red light at the intersection of Meadowdale Boulevard and Hopkins Road, slamming his 2008 Honda Civic into a 2010 Toyota Scion.


The driver of the Toyota, 20-year-old Justus M. Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.


Beltran-Perez, a Salvadoran national, was taken to the hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Once he was released, he was taken into custody by Chesterfield County sheriff's deputies.


Beltran-Perez has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, DUI, unlawful possession of alcohol, disregarding a traffic light and driving without a license. He is currently being held at the Riverside Regional Jail without bond.
