Illegal alien charged with sexual abuse of a child

A 29-year-old illegal alien who has been living in Alexander City is in the Tallapoosa County Jail after he was arrested by Alexander City Police for sexual abuse of a child.

Officials confirmed that Maximino DeJesus Hernandez, 29, was arrested last Tuesday, April 18 and charged with sexual abuse of a child under the age on 12 years old. Bond has been set at $300,000. Hernandez, who is also known as Elias Jesus Botello, remained in custody as of late Monday afternoon.

“The charges stem from allegations that he had inappropriate sexual contact with a young girl who lived in the same apartment complex,” said Alexander City Police Department Deputy Chief James Easterwood. “The case is still under investigation, but that’s about all we can release at this time.”

According to the police report, Hernandez is in the country illegally.

Easterwood said typically in such cases a hold is put on the individual by immigration officials until the case is resolved and then the subject is deported.

Court records show that Hernandez has plead guilty to two counts of possession of a forged instrument and one count of possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to two years in prison, but the time was suspended as a part of a plea agreement.

Instead, Hernandez served two years on probation and was ordered to pay court costs, restitution and pay a small fine. Records show that Hernandez never paid any of what was ordered by the court, but had not been taken back into custody.

He needs to be deported under fast track rapid deportment. Just get him out of here and keep him out.

These people are deranged - get them outta here NOW! How many are perverts? Seems like a high %. Every day it is a rape, a child molestation, or a murder - by those in this country illegally. No, this has to stop, get rid of them.

What, we have to house, feed, imprison them, waste our court systems - this is all very costly and you are talking @ scum that shouldn't even be within our borders.

E-verify, get rid of them all

All our efforts needs to be focused on enforcement and deportation. Getting all of these people out of our country as fast as possible needs to be our number one critical, crucial all-hands on deck objective. In my opinion. If they aren't here, we don't have to worry about anything except keeping them out. The illegal workers are gone, the welfare users are gone, no more anchor babies being born, no more illegal alien crime, no more spending on them, no more worrying about them, no more gangs, no more of this insanity.

JUST GET THEM ALL OUT OF HERE ON THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE DATE, quickly and quietly, no fuss, no muss, just find them, arrest them, ask them 2 questions (are you a citizen, y or n, do you have current unexpired docs to be here, y or n, if no and no, out you go), and deport their asses out of here, families intact, no child left behind.

There is no white collar solution to this problem. It's shoes and boots on the ground, physical removals, that is the only solution to illegal immigration and that just happens to be the solution that our President can execute and carry out himself. Yes, we need more agents, more detention centers, more judges, but that will come, some of it right now with the Continuing Resolution. And what we need most is the support of state and local la enforcement to help US enforce US immigration law.

All state and law enforcement officers who want to see an end to this travesty called illegal immigration need to stand with US and convince their leadership and community leaders to help US solve this problem, and if they don't question why they aren't.

Actually this one needs to do time behind bars for sexually abusing a minor before he is deported. Deportation is not a penalty for a crime.

I don't want to pay for it. Why do you? You lock people up to keep them off your streets, when you can deport them, they're not only off your streets, they're out of your country. Far better solution in my opinion. Let his home country do whatever they want with him.
