Thread: Illegal Alien Dubbed 'Taliban' Convicted of Killing Teen Outside Barack Obama Academy

About a week after three illegal alien members of the notorious Salvadorian gang MS-13 were convicted in federal court of collectively killing two people mere minutes from federal immigration headquarters, eight more criminal aliens from the same gang -- this time in New Jersey -- were convicted of yet another slew of nefarious things, including killing a high school student outside Plainfield's Barack Obama Academy.

A press release issued Wednesday by the Department of Justice explains:

Santos Reyes-Villatoro, aka Mousey, 43, of Bound Brook, New Jersey; Mario Oliva, aka Zorro, 29, of Plainfield, New Jersey; Roberto Contreras, aka Demonio, 27, of Bound Brook; Julian Moz-Aguilar, aka Humilde and Demente, 28, of Plainfield; Hugo Palencia, aka Taliban, 24, of Plainfield; Jose Garcia, aka Chucky and Diabolico, 24, of Plainfield; Cruz Flores, aka Bruja, 30, of Plainfield; and Esau Ramirez, aka Panda, 25, of Plainfield, were convicted in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Reyes-Villatoro, Oliva, Contreras, Moz-Aguilar, Palencia, Ramirez and Garcia were each convicted of one count of racketeering conspiracy; Reyes-Villatoro, Oliva, Palencia and Moz-Aguilar were each convicted of one count of murder in aid of racketeering, one count of using and carrying a firearm during a crime of violence and causing death through use of a firearm; Contreras was convicted of one count of accessory after the fact to murder in aid of racketeering; Garcia was convicted of one count of murder-for-hire conspiracy, one count of travel in interstate commerce with intent to commit murder and two counts of conspiracy to commit murder in aid of racketeering; Flores was convicted of one count of conspiracy to commit murder in aid of racketeering and one count of murder in aid of racketeering; and Ramirez was convicted of one count of conspiracy to commit murder in aid of racketeering.

According to the feds, the eight MS-13 members were part of the gang’s “PLS Clique,” which the DoJ reports committed five murders in connection with gang activity. One victim was a woman gang members thought was working with law enforcement:

On Feb. 27, 2010, Oliva drove a female member of MS-13 to an empty parking lot in Piscataway, New Jersey, and murdered her because she was suspected of working with law enforcement.

Another victim was an innocent bystander who just happened to be around when MS-13 members started shooting at a group of students at Plainfield, N.J.’s Barack Obama Academy:

On Nov. 11, 2010, Palencia drove another MS-13 member to the area around Barack Obama Academy in Plainfield, where they encountered students challenging MS-13. Palencia pulled over, handed a firearm to another MS-13 member and instructed him to shoot at one of the individuals. The MS-13 member shot into the crowd, killing a bystander.

That aforementioned “bystander” was 17-year-old Plainsfield student Spencer Cadogan, who was shot in the head and killed in broad daylight as he was walking down a busy street in November of 2010. Local reports did not reveal that the murderer, Hugo Palencia (a.k.a. "Taliban") was an illegal alien.

The defendants' third victim was viciously beaten and stabbed after having his throat slit because an MS-13 member saw him hanging out with someone from a rival gang:

On May 8, 2011, Flores carried out an MS-13 murder on a victim who was caught socializing with 18th Street gang members. Flores and another MS-13 member cut the victim’s throat, beat him with a bat and stabbed him in the back 17 times.

The press release also explained that Garcia recruited and hired MS-13 members from the gang’s Maryland-based “clique” to come to New Jersey and murder a woman in exchange for $40,000.

Other charges brought against various members of the group included attempted murder, hiring other people to commit murder against witnesses, attacking a guy with a machete, various weapons offenses, extortion and robbery.

As insane as all that sounds, it’s only the tip of the iceberg. The Justice Department notes that there are 13 other people who’ve been arrested and charged with related MS-13 crimes, with one person still on the run.

In addition to these convictions, five of the 14 other defendants charged in this investigation have pleaded guilty to their roles in the racketeering conspiracy. One defendant remains a fugitive.

While the Justice Department failed to state whether the eight convicted gang members were legally present in the United States when they committed their crimes, a spokesperson for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed to MRCTV that the agency had issued immigration detainers for all eight convicted gang members when they were originally arrested in 2011. ICE detainers are only placed on illegal aliens who are elligible for removal at the time they commit a crime.

Illegal Alien Nicknamed ‘Taliban’ Sentenced to Life in Prison After Shooting Death of American Student

An illegal alien and MS-13 gangbanger nicknamed “Taliban” will serve the rest of his life in prison after ordering another gang member to shoot into a crowd in 2010, killing a high school student.

Hugo Palencia, now 24, was one of eight MS-13 gang members convicted in part on racketeering charges:

On Nov. 11, 2010, Palencia drove another MS-13 member to the area around Barack Obama Academy in Plainfield, where they encountered students challenging MS-13. Palencia pulled over, handed a firearm to another MS-13 member and instructed him to shoot at one of the individuals. The MS-13 member shot into the crowd, killing a bystander.

As MRCTV reports, Obama’s Department of Justice did not say Palencia was an illegal alien at the time of the murder.

A jury convicted Palencia of racketeering conspiracy, murder in aid of racketeering, using and carrying a firearm during a crime of violence, and causing death through use of a firearm in June.

American taxpayers must pay to feed, clothe, and house the illegal alien murderer for the rest of his life.
