Illegal Alien from Mexico Charged with Killing 14-Year-Old Boy Riding His Bike

An illegal alien working in Wixom County, Michigan, as a waiter has been charged with killing a 14-year-old boy in a hit and run crash.

Miguel A. Ibarra Cerda, an illegal alien from Mexico, was arrested and charged by the Wixom Police Department with reckless driving that resulted in a death and leaving the scene of an accident after he allegedly hit 14-year-old Justin Lee, according to Detroit News.

Police say Cerda—who only speaks Spanish—was driving a blue Honda Odyssey minivan when he hit Justin, who was riding his bike to a friend’s house. Cerda was driving on the wrong side of the road at the time and immediately drove off from the scene of the crash, according to police and eyewitnesses.

Justin was left in a ditch and later died in a nearby hospital.

According to police, Cerda was attempting to flee back to Mexico after being arrested, prompting District Judge Travis Reeds to set a bond of $350,000.

Now, Justin’s mother, Pattie Warner-Lee, remembers her son as a “very kind” boy who, as she described, would stick up for his classmates if they were being bullied.

Warner-Lee told Detroit News:

“We are so grateful to police for their quick work on this and making an arrest,” the victim’s mother, Pattie Warner-Lee, said outside the courtroom. “I had just made him something to eat after school and he was returning a friend’s bike to him when this happened a couple block from our house.

“I remember him kissing me on the head before leaving the house and telling me he loved me,” she said, her lips quivering. “He was a very kind person. The kind who is so funny he could pick you up when you were at your lowest.

“One younger boy came by the house crying after hearing of Justin’s death,” she said. “He told me how Justin had stood up for him when he was bullied on the school bus. He called my son his hero.”

Warner-Lee said her son also loved football and dreamed of attending the University of Michigan to play college ball. His teammates attended the vigil for Justin at Walled Lake Western High School where he was a freshman.

“His dreams were to go on to University of Michigan after high school to play football and study forensic science,” Warner-Lee told Detroit News. “I believe he would have done both.”

The lawmakers do not care about illegals because they are not forced to interact with them on a daily basis like we are. Their children and grandchildren are not forced to go to school with them. They like to make fun of people who are forced to shop at Walmart because they cannot afford to shop anywhere else. They go to Washington and they lose touch with the people they are sworn to represent. If they are not rich when they get there they will be rich when they leave thanks to payoffs and connections they make while "serving." The question is who are they serving?

Media are going crazy over the issue of kids being separated from their parents because the parents were arrested for entering the country illegally.

It’s obviously the chosen talking point to push when they no longer have collusion and when they don’t want anyone paying attention to the IG report and the information that revealed.

What’s missing out of the equation is a little sanity and real facts.

First, that if you were really applying for asylum, you can do it legally by going to a border control entry point. If you do that, you are not separated. But if you enter illegally, and then pull the ‘asylum’ card as a ‘get out of jail card free,’ they’re going to still prosecute you while trying to figure out if your claim is valid because you broke the law.

What was happening under Obama was that they were lax about prosecution, thus causing more problems for illegal immigration and for the kids.

Second what’s often left out of the story is that the adults the children are with have just committed a crime and subjected the kids to all kinds of danger from inhospitable terrain to cartels and human traffickers. And they often compound that separation by lying and making an invalid asylum claim. Not exactly sterling parenting.

If they enter illegally they are generally out within days and sent back quickly with their children. If they alleged asylum, it requires the government to process it and on average it’s talking about a month and a half. 80% of the claims are found to be invalid. Parents are then reunited with kids.

But while media is covering the ‘separation’ angle at great length, there’s a story they wouldn’t be focusing much on today.

According to the Detroit News, 21-year-old Miguel A. Ibarra Cerda was arraigned Thursday in the hit-and-run death of 14-year-old Justin Lee in Wixom, Michigan.“Police said Justin, a freshman at Walled Lake Western High School, was riding a friend’s bike on Potter Road near Flamingo Street on Monday night when witnesses said he was struck by a blue Honda Odyssey minivan that immediately sped away,” the newspaper reported.“The minivan had been driven in excess of speed limits and was on the wrong side of the road when the crash occurred, knocking Lee into a ditch … The teen later was pronounced dead at an area hospital.”

Cerda hit the boy and then just left him in the ditch. Horrible.

Cerda, a Mexican national who worked at a local Burrito King restaurant, was charged with reckless driving causing death and leaving the scene of an accident, which could result in 15 years behind bars. He pleaded not guilty to the charges. Bail was set at $350,000.

Breitbart reported that Cerda was in the country illegally and had been trying to flee back to Mexico at the time of his arrest.“We are so grateful to police for their quick work on this and making an arrest,” Pattie Warner-Lee, the victim’s mother, told reporters outside the courtroom, according to the Detroit News.

Click on Detroit confirms that Cerda was here illegally. He went to a friend to have him help him flee to Mexico after the crash, one of the reasons his bail was set high.
His mother described her last moments with her son.

The illegal immigrant charged with the fatal hit-and run of a Wixom teen has been bound over for trial in Oakland County Circuit Court.

Miguel Ibarra-Cerda, 21, waived his right to a preliminary exam July 18 in Novi’s 52-1 District Court.

Ibarra-Cerda, who’s communicating through an interpreter during court proceedings, is charged with reckless driving causing death and failure to stop at the scene of an accident when at fault resulting in death in the accident which killed Justin Lee, 14.

Justin, a Walled Lake Western High School student and football player, was riding a bike along Potter Road, just east of Wixom Road near his home, when he was hit by a minivan shortly after 5:30 p.m. on June 11. The driver fled the scene.

Based on information from witnesses, investigators identified Ibarra-Cerda as the person they say was behind the wheel and, thanks to a tip to police, he was arrested June 12 in Lansing. It’s believed he was headed to Mexico, according to Wixom Public Safety Director Ron Moore.

Ibarra-Cerda faces up to 15 years in prison for each charge.

Trial is set to begin Nov. 29 for the illegal immigrant charged with the fatal hit-and-run of a Wixom teen that happened in June.

There are here illegally, they are driving on our roads illegally and NOW they are running our citizens over and KILLING them!
