    Illegal expected to be extradited soon for fatal shooting

    They don't mention that he was an illegal living and working in Denver but we all know that

    Suspect in fatal officer shooting expected to be extradited soon

    DENVER - Sources tell 9News that the extradition of suspected cop killer Raul Gomez-Garcia is imminent.

    The Mexican consulate will have an update at a news conference Thursday. Gomez-Garcia is accused in the shooting death of Denver Police Detective Donnie Young in May. Detective Jack Bishop was wounded in the same attack that took place while the officers were working off-duty security at a party.

    More than a month after the crime Gomez-Garcia was found hiding in Mexico. The Mexican government ordered his extradition after prosecutors agreed not to seek the death penalty. The deadline for Gomez-Garcia to appeal the extradition has since passed

    Gee, wouldn't it be a darn shame if this (expletive deleted!) had some horrible accident befall him on the way to court?
