ALLENTOWN, Pa. - An illegal immigrant living in Allentown is facing charges after allegedly being caught with fraudulent residency documents.
Police in Lebanon County said Alejandro Flores Torres, 47, was in possession of a fraudulent United States Social Security card and a fraudulent Department of Homeland Security permanent resident card.
They said the documents were found during a traffic stop on Interstate 78 eastbound in Bethel Township, Lebanon County.
Flores Torres allegedly told police he paid $175 to get the documents so he could obtain employment.
Flores Torres was charged with two counts of forgery and one count of identity theft.
He was transported to Lebanon County Central Booking for arraignment.
Immigration officers were notified about the arrest.
