Illegal immigrant busted
An alleged illegal immigrant will be deported after being arrested during a house party.
Police say they were called to 232 North Street at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday to investigate complaints by neighbors of a loud party.
A neighbor tipped off officers that the occupants were believed to be illegal Brazilians.
Officers called in an agent from the federal Customs Enforcement.
After the nine occupants were interviewed, they were allegedly found to have counterfeit licenses and passports.
Officers discovered that one resident, Valdir De Oliveira, 31, had a deportation warrant.
De Oliveira was taken into custody. Police say he will be deported this week.
The eight others will have complaints issued against them for possession of counterfeit documents. They will face charges in court at a later date.
