Juan Martinez, 44, of the 1100 block of Edison Avenue, was arrested at his apartment April 8 and charged with rape, according to police records.
Martinez appeared Wednesday, April 15, in Hamilton Municipal Court, where his case was bound over to a Butler County Common Pleas Court grand jury, authorities said.

The girl told a social worker at the hospital that Martinez, who was a friend of the family, allegedly touched her inappropriately, according to police records.
The arrest occurred a little more than two months after the allegations were made because investigators were gathering evidence, Hayes said.
Martinez is being held in the Butler County Jail on an “immigration holderâ€
