Dozens of Illegals Caught in Edinburg Raid

Three fled

EDINBURG - Dozens of illegal immigrants are in custody after a stash house raid.

The bust happened just minutes ago at an apartment complex on Jasper and Jackson.

ICE and Border Patrol agents found at least 50 illegal immigrants in the apartment. We're told some of them are from Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico. They include men, women, children and teenagers.

A prisoner transportation bus was needed to take the group to a Border Patrol station.

Three illegals fled. Agents chased after them. But at this time, they haven't been caught.

We're hearing conflicting reports of what led authorities to the apartment. But NEWSCHANNEL 5 learned most of the people had been there for at least 24 hours. One person told us they'd been there for 15 days.

ICE agents say no one was hurt. We'll continue to ask questions and bring you the latest updates about this raid.

Not many words to search for but used Edinburg and the author of your article didn't spell it right.

Go get em ICE....the more you get them ( and deport them) the less damage they can do to our Precious America!
