Illegal immigrants busted for production of forged documents

The following news release was sent by the AZ Dept. of Public Safety:

MESA - On August 22, 2008, Detectives from the Arizona Fraudulent Identification Task Force (AFIT), a statewide multi-agency task force administered by the Arizona Department of Public Safety, executed a search warrant on an apartment located in the 200 block of South Lazona Dr. in Mesa. Inside the apartment detectives found and seized a computer, printer/scanner, card printer, laminating machine, software, plastic card stock, and other items associated with the manufacturing of forged identifications, driver’s licenses, immigration cards, and social security cards.

Among the evidence discovered by authorities.

Antonio C. Garcia, age 29, and Antonio L. Gayton, age 31, suspected undocumented immigrants, were arrested and booked into the Maricopa County Jail. They are charged with multiple counts of violation ARS 13-2002, Forgery, 13-2010 Trafficking in the Identity of Another Person or Entity, and 13-2312 Illegal Control of an Enterprise.
