04/16/09 5:19 AM Large numbers of illegal immigrants file tax returns using phony Social Security numbers to cash in on the federal Earned Income Tax Credit, thanks to lax government management, according to the author of a new study.

The government cannot find these people?
ITIN should not get benefits they are business incomes that are not being checked for citizenship.
Where do they put this number on the 1040?
Only Social Security Numbers and Americans should get tax credits on the 1040 form.
These same people have bought houses, too with their ITIN numbers.

Illegal Immigrants are a type of people that believe that they deserve what they can take, which means they are crooks or theives. We know they are dishonest people because they lie about their citizenship and eligibility the whole time they are in the US. They are not honest people. None of them.

Just how incredibly asinine is the following?
This makes it possible for illegal immigrants to claim children still living in Mexico as dependents and for parents living illegally in the U.S. to file separate returns claiming the same children as dependents under the EITC, Rubenstein said.
I think we need to seriously look at our incomprehensible tax code and waste and come up with a better system.
