    ALAMO — Federal authorities expect to deport 58 illegal immigrants after raiding a stash house Thursday.

    The U.S. Border Patrol arrested immigrants from five different countries Thursday after receiving a call for help from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

    In a house on Hunee Road, authorities found 43 men and 15 women. The arrestees included 33 Mexicans, 19 Brazilians, three Hondurans, two El Salvadorans and a Peruvian.

    Agents took the illegal immigrants to the Weslaco Border Patrol Station, where they remained Friday pending formal removal to their home countries.

    Anyone with information about suspicious activity along the border is asked to call the Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol sector at (800) 863-9382.
