BORDER AGENT ISSUES WARNING: Cuban Criminals Released Each Day

by admin/ March 23, 2016

Tens of thousands of Cubans have been flown to Mexico where they freely walk across the United States border to begin a new life — despite the fact some are hardened criminals and others may carry infectious diseases, a U.S. border patrol official tells Newsmax TV’s Dennis Michael Lynch.

The immigrants are quickly processed, given $200 in cash, $200 in credit and allowed to travel anywhere in the U.S. without any supervision.

In one instance, border employees watched in disgust as two men — one found out to be a convicted child molester, the other a convicted rapist — were waved into the U.S. without any further questioning.

And more are on the way, with an astounding 400 Cubans crossing the international bridge from Mexico into Laredo, Texas, every day according to the source, who is based in the bustling border town.

The flood of immigrants comes amid increasing concern about security on our southern border in the wake of this week’s terrorist outrage in Brussels in which ISIS bombers killed at least 31 people.

The wave of Cubans seems to be going on with the rubber-stamp approval of State department officials.

“There is an official from the State Department who is watching over all of this. They’re making sure that the Cubans are all given paperwork that entitles them to roam the country at will,” Lynch’s source tells him.

Citing a “matter of national security,” the border official, whom Lynch describes as a longtime trusted source, called him to describe the appalling lack of security in admitting the refugees along the border.

Despite the refugees being subjected to background checks that often reveal they have a violent criminal past, none are refused admittance, the source tells Lynch.

None of the refugees are required to undergo physical examinations, including blood tests, which could uncover infectious and communicable diseases.

“They are then walked to the door and set free to go. And because they are from Cuba, U.S. law states they are free to be here. They can just do what they want. And here comes the worst part of it all: If the Cuban has a criminal record, it doesn’t matter. They are released into the general public.”

From October 2015 to February 2016 more than 18,500 Cubans arrived at the Laredo field office of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the source said. If that trend continues, it will shatter last year’s numbers when a record 28,371 Cubans crossed over.

In addition, during the 2015 fiscal year, more than 43,150 Cubans crossed the border illegally. More than half, 25,800 Cubans, crossed over in only first five months of the current fiscal year.

Lynch’s informant says that 400 Cubans are crossing the international bridge in Laredo on a daily basis and there are “never less than 4,000 Cubans” waiting on the Mexican side to be brought over.

The source also said the U.S. border patrol remains “grossly understaffed.”

“Agents are actually leaving the agency at alarming numbers. Aside from the fact that they are very pissed off about not being able to do the job that they signed up for, their paychecks are being cut,” Lynch said his confidant told him.

“This particular agent’s pay cut is less than $500 a month than it once was. Border agents have also been told that if they don’t like the Obama administration’s capture and release program that they should quit. They heard this form the top of the Border Patrol.”

The source also said “countless miles of border” along the Laredo sector are no longer patrolled because the manpower has been so depleted — a very disturbing development as terrorism around the world continues to mushroom.

The crisis comes amid fears among Cubans that the U.S. may end its “wet foot, dry foot policy” which gives Cubans a fast track to U.S. residency once they’ve set foot on American soil, in the wake of President Barack Obama’s historic visit to Cuba this week.
