    I'm crazy.....and don't know what to do

I really am crazy and don't know what to do,
I have a husband that swooned me with music.
Swooned me with sob stories that would put these Mexicans to shame.
He's written great songs....love songs.....political songs....rock and roll songs and all the rest.

    He has talent.

But I need to know what do to with a person that says.....if I only had this....I would be GREAT......I did that and then.....something else....wasn't QUITE GOOD enough. So I gave that.....and then.....that wasn't good enough either........and then I TOOK A HAMMER AND I KNOCKED IT ALL TO KINGTOME COME!!! I DID IT!!!!! Never asked an insurance company to cover me or anything else. It is still going on. But now I have to replace all that I destroyed. I did that. But still....not quite GOOD enough. If I wanted Yamaha....now I NEED a MARTIN.....ok now there's a MARTIN and.......nothing. It's not music ....it's a connection.....I am a 51 yr old woman, married to a 52 yr old guy that thinks he can still be a rock and roll star. Right But he has a guy he knows.............

I really thought I would OUTGROW this BS!!!!!! I found out today....I have colon cancer and rehumathoid arthritis.......and I have a husband that still thinks he's going to be a rock and roll star......

Sounds like your husband is going to have to step up to the plate and now do what's going to be best for you. I'm so sorry about the cancer. I will add you to my prayer list. Hang in there.

You will be in my prayers, crazybird, you and your husband. As for men growing up, some never do. Mine refuses to grow up and it gets on my nerves, too. But, I bet your husband will be there for you through this. I wish you the best.

I hope everything turns out well for you crazybird. He'll be there for you just like you've been there for him.

    (((((HUGS)))))

Crazybird, I'll add you to my prayer box. Please Please take care of yourself first.

My hubby is a big brat too! I just ignore him and let him make a mess and I leave him to clean it up. I had to learn to stop helping him to stupid things, quit fixing his mistakes and covering for him. I quit all involvement and he has to go it alone if he really wants to do it. God, knows he still tries to involve me in the clean up and I decline every time. I just tell him, I advised you against that, you charged head on into it, so deal with our head ache and don't try to pass it on to me.

I hope you can tell your hubby you really need him right now and that you have reached a point in your life that you can no longer support his ambitions to be a rock-star. However, encourage him to keep it as a hobby. Also, big kids do a lousy job of supporting you, when you need them the most. I pray he comes around and you are comforted and feel loved.

God Bless You and Many Hugs too,

    Dixie

    Crazybird your in my prayers.

Walk up to your man, honey, take him by both arms and turn him directly to you. Look into his eyes and tell him you need him to be by your side and not disappearing into some honky tonk. Tell him you need him and what he can do to help you. Ask him to hold your hand and sing to you. And let him know you are scared. Then give him a big hug. He is as scared as you are.

I will pray for you crazy and know that the survival rate is the highest it has ever been for cancer with all the new medical breakthroughs. Hopefully they caught it early.

With regards to your husbands mid-life crisis, he needs to focus on what is really important in his life and be there to support you which supercedes his desire to be a rock and roll star or anything else for that matter.

Good luck and keep us posted.
