Immigrants Deported After Kidnapping Hoax
GREENWICH, Conn. — Police in Connecticut say a family that claimed it rescued three immigrant relatives from a kidnapper made up the story.
The story came to light after a fight involving nearly 20 people in Greenwich on Aug. 2. Police at the time said it involved human smuggling.
The family members, who live 90 miles away in Willimantic, told authorities their relatives were kidnapped in Texas, and they went to the ransom exchange in Greenwich to rescue the three.
But police documents obtained by Hearst Connecticut Newspapers show authorities later learned the fight broke out after a driver asked the family for an extra $60 per person to bring the three illegal immigrants to Willimantic.
The immigrants and the driver have been deported to Mexico and Guatemala.

Connecticut police say immigrants' story about kidnapping, ransom was a lie
Associated Press

GREENWICH, Conn. - A Connecticut family made up claims that it rescued three immigrant relatives from a kidnapper by showing up with baseball bats at a ransom exchange meeting, according to police reports.
Instead, the reports say, the family had arranged transportation to Connecticut for their relatives after they entered the country illegally, and a melee broke out when a driver asked for an additional fee of $60 per person to bring them to the family's home.
Greenwich Officer Martin O'Reilly wrote in a report that a federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent told him that "the entire kidnapping story was completely fabricated." The report was obtained by Hearst Connecticut Newspapers through a public records request.
Police say they detained nearly 20 people after the Aug. 2 fight in a Greenwich shopping center parking lot.
The three illegal immigrants were identified as Antonio Gonzales, Nicolas Gonzales-Ceron and Ramon Hermelindo. Their family members in Willimantic, about 90 miles from Greenwich, told police the immigrants were their cousins who had been kidnapped from Texas.
Police say the relatives claimed the kidnappers demanded $2,500 for each of their cousins, and the family had arranged to meet with the captors to pay the ransom.
Police reports also show that immigration authorities issued a bulletin earlier on the day of the fight to inform local police to watch for a large blue van from Texas because passengers were being held hostage and abused.
A Greenwich police spokesman referred questions Monday to a department records supervisor, who was off for Columbus Day, and federal immigration officials.
Paula Grenier, a spokeswoman for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said Monday that there was no kidnapping, but the incident included what she called "elements of human smuggling." Grenier would not comment further because the investigation is ongoing.
A police report says the three immigrants and the van driver were all in the country illegally. Grenier said three of the four were deported to Mexico and the fourth was deported to Guatemala.

These "kidnappings" are all hoaxes. They hope to get visas by claiming to be "kidnapped". It's not a kidnapping if you hire someone to smuggle you into a country, it's a criminal act. DEPORT!
Was the family arrested? They should have been, they were complicit. Are any of them illegal aliens? If so, deport!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Nothingis Actionable
The truth is that if you are American you have no rights, and if you are an Illegal in this country you hold all the marbles. I remember the rancher in Texas who was sued for holding an entire family of Border Jumpers at bay. The border jumpers had littered on his land, destroyed wells, and stolen property at various times, yet they still awarded these tresspassers money. Our country is rapidly becoming a joke. We need to stand up for our rights.
<div>We need a solution of peace.* Maybe we could just ask nicely for them to stop crossing the border.</div>
